The EU has specific legislation for equipment and products that come into contact with food and it has its own mark, which is not a CE marking.
The EU’s Food Contact Materials Regulation (EC) 1935/2004 requires compliance for all equipment that comes into contact with food. This includes food processing machinery, baking equipment, cooking machines, etc.
